FLINT (WJRT) (5/22/2018) – A Grand Blanc pastor and a woman from Flint are accused of running a scheme that defrauded investors out of retirement income with claims of high returns.

Larry Holley, 61, and Patricia Gray, 57, allegedly went around to churches in Michigan and other states to host seminars on investing.

They offered financial planning and asset management services through a business called Treasure Enterprise, according to U.S. Attorney Matthew Schneider in Detroit.

The business claimed investors would receive significant returns by placing their savings under management by Treasure Enterprise and then receive all of their money back.

However, investigators say Enright and Holly, who is pastor of Abundant Life Ministries in Flint, never invested the money. Instead, they allegedly deposited it into accounts to pay personal expenses, Abundant Life Ministries expenses and pay back earlier investors.

Holley and Enright have been indicted on charges of wire and mail fraud, conspiracy and money laundering. Both appeared in the U.S. District Court in Flint on Monday.
